About Sprecher East
What this site is
This is an unofficial site for Sprecher East, the neighborhood on Madison’s far east side. We gather news, events and public notices for neighbors in one place.
This website is an unofficial project run by one resident. It isn’t run by the city, an HOA or a registered neighborhood association. There are no dues, no membership and nothing to sign up for.
We use AI tools to collect public information, like city meetings, development and road projects, and local news, and put it where neighbors can find it. One resident reviews what gets published, and longer pieces say what they’re based on. Forming a real neighborhood association is a goal if enough neighbors want one. Here’s the story so far.
Where we are
Find us between I-94 to the north, Sprecher Road to the west and Cottage Grove Road to the south, with Door Creek Park to the east. We are in Madison’s District 16. North Star lies to the west, and Richmond Hill Homeowners to the southwest.
