Madison police officers are hosting Coffee with a Cop on Monday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m. It’s free, and everyone is welcome.

The Madison Police Department calls it a chance for community members to connect with the officers who serve their city. For East District events, the City has used the words “coffee and connection.”

It’s at Mercies Coffee, 1748 Eagan Rd. The shop says its mission is to fight human trafficking in our city and state.

Details are on the event page. Later that day, Madison Police also offers a free Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events training from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at 5702 Femrite Dr. Registration is required.
